Summary:
Under the leadership of the Home Store Manager or his/her assistant, the Home Store Cashier / Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing assistance and support to staff, volunteers, customers, and donors in the day-to-day operations of the Hospice Home Store.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Arrives on time for scheduled shift Reports to Home Store Manager if unable to report to scheduled shift or running late Represents Four Seasons in a friendly and courteous manner Provides excellent customer service and maintains a positive attitude Understands and implements policies and procedures as outlined in the Home Store Training Manual Understands and implements Home Store policies and procedures Provides customer service by operating cash register, bagging merchandise in assistance to cashier, and being available to assist customers by answering questions and helping with shopping needs Helps provide a welcoming clean environment which reflects the Four Seasons brand by dusting and cleaning furniture, shelves, merchandise and other items on the sales floor Displays merchandise from inventory room onto sales floor appropriately and according to display themes Receives donations from public, collects information, and provides receipts as requested Maintain store inventory by sorting, pricing and stocking donations Wears photo identification at all times while on duty Attends Home Store support meetings Attends quarterly Home Store volunteer/staff meetings Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to communicate in written and oral form Ability to transport self to Home Store Minimum
Qualifications:
Willingness and ability to work cooperatively on a team, accepting change and new ideas as an innate component of a retail environment Understanding and accepting of the Hospice philosophy and concept of care Understanding of Four Seasons Foundation mission and goals Completes New Volunteer Orientation Valid driver's license Proof of auto insurance liability coverage on file Summary of Physical Requirements:
Walking, standing, sitting, driving, and writing Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, excluding breaks.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
