Responsibilities:
This position Provides visitor services at the TDA Welcome center 2-3 days a week, weekend availability required.
May assist with events held at or hosted by the TDA.
This position also Performs responsible visitor services and events duties for the Henderson County Tourism Development authority; performs related work as required.
Work is performed under regular supervision.
Reports to the Manager of Partner Programs.
Regular weekend work is required.
Qualifications:
Great hospitality and customer service skills required, with willingness to serve the traveling public wanting to know about our destination.
General knowledge of office practices and procedures; some knowledge of general accounting practices and procedures; ability to operate office equipment, including computer, required for the position; ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; excellent interpersonal skills; and ability to attend work regularly.
Pre-employment drug test and background checks required of finalist applicants.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
