Ensure members actively participate and receive caring supervision, respect, and recognition for their efforts.
Provide feedback for continuous program quality improvement.
Supervise program areas and uphold club outcome goals in an environment that promotes the health, safety and success of members; Manage behaviors according to the Club's Discipline Policy.
Promote physical and emotional safety, positive values and ethical behavior among members.
Provide trauma-informed guidance to members; act as role model.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED Experience working with youth Ability to motivate and keep youth engaged and effectively manage behaviors Ability to plan and implement quality youth programs Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics.
Strong interpersonal skills - interact effectively with co-workers on all levels as well as with teen members and community.
Culturally sensitive and mission-driven in all interactions.
Valuing diversity is a must.
Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.
