With offices across North Carolina, t he MRI/CT Assistant promptly and safely transports patients to and from the Radiology Department according to established policies, procedures, and time schedules.
Performs patient screenings prior to study.
The position ensures the maintenance of Radiology equipment and assists other staff members upon request Qualifications and Experience High school diploma required Comfortable using email and interacting with Internet applications Knowledge of practice management and word processing software Current CPR certification Good communication skills, written and verbal Minimum one year of customer service experience in medical office setting, or other fast paced work setting Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting room and/or exam room to the Radiology department Prepares patients for study by dressing patient according to safety protocols Completes screening process on all patients prior to study Ensures laboratory results are received as indicated by study requirements Ensures all studies scheduled have correct orders and insurance authorizations on file prior to patient arrival and transmits to third party radiology group Utilize imaging software to transmit images to third party radiology group for purposes of study interpretation Takes stock inventory and completes ordering as directed by Clinical Manager Communicates with outside facilities and third-party participants to request and/or maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance Maintains compliance with Infection Control guidelines Complies with all OSHA mandates.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
