Under the direction of the shift Supervisor, the person who fills this role operator equipment to full capacity and within required specifications.
Responsible for reaching set goals while minimizing waste.
The person chosen to fill this role will contribute largely to the success of the Production Department in the facility in Hendersonville, NC.
Shift:
2nd shift, 1:
30 pm - 10:
00 pm, Monday - Friday Pay:
Starting at $19.
00/hour Key responsibilities include:
Operate the Chocolate Manufacturing equipment in a safe manner Perform analytical functions including fineness, viscosity and color measurement Insure flavors and all minor ingredients are added and documented per the recipe Set process parameters, process controls and safety alarms manually and/or via a PC computer.
Prepare and be responsible for the Shift Production Report.
(This report will include information on production rates, efficiency, lot numbers, maintenance, downtime and sanitation).
Make production checks to control quality and adjust the formulation accordingly Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary work area Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP requirements, and food safety standards for the area and function involved Communicate appropriately with Management and Co-Workers (Verbal and simple written reports) Be able to understand and apply directions from the management team.
Must be a results oriented individual, who thrives on situations involving pressure Complete daily performance documentation for production line.
Performs all other related duties as requested Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Be able to move freely throughout the production area Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Work
Experience:
One year of work experience, preferably in machine operation.
