The ideal candidate will show a true passion for helping others and provide a strong dedication to serving special needs individuals.
The right candidate has a deep understanding of home care services, and has the ability to create positive relationships with recipients and their family members.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized caregiving services including personal hygiene, dressing, eating and grooming.
Assess and understand recipients' needs and preferences.
Understand the client's medical condition and follow the Plan of Care.
Transfer recipient to wheelchair and bed.
Gather information regarding the patient's daily activities, and health conditions.
Light housekeeping duties (eg.
keeping room clean and orderly, laundry and other duties as needed.
Recording or documenting recipient progress using a phone app.
Encouraging a playful interaction in reading, games and other recreation.
Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment in a positive atmosphere.
