This person will work with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, while monitoring key program metrics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operations Management:
Monitors Continuous Quality Improvement performance s Monitors program dashboards and metrics and report to appropriate leaders on trends, outcomes, etc.
Handles special projects as assigned.
Rounding for Outcomes (MBWA - Manages By Walking Around):
Engages with processes, monitoring performance and building relationships.
Commits to a safe environment for patients/customers/guests.
Responds to service concerns in person.
Facilitates and communicates regulatory requirements and changes, hospital policies, and procedures and safety guidelines.
Human Resource Management:
Attends section meetings and department meetings when appropriate and reports on areas of responsibility as required.
Financial Stewardship:
Works to achieve cost efficiency in program areas and utilizes resources in a cost efficient manner.
Resource Planning:
Evaluates tasks and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency.
Customer/Patient Loyalty:
Improves satisfaction loyalty of customers provided by areas of responsibility.
Immediately investigates and resolves concerns or complaints with assigned services.
Personally manages the appropriate internal follow-up regarding the concern or complaint.
Acts as a change agent for patient focused care in assigned services.
Compliance Management:
Maintains ongoing compliance with licensure, regulatory, and accreditation standards applicable to assigned areas of responsibility.
Professional Practice:
Maintains an acceptable level of professional knowledge and works toward continuously improving standards of care/service.
Committee Support:
Provides assistance to various program committees in obtaining and evaluating quality and metric dat Partners with physicians to establish a safe environment for patients and smooth workflow.
EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) EXPERIENCE 3
years of RN experience; emphasis on orthopedics.
REQUIREMENTS Current RN licensure in the state of Employment KNOWLEDGE Principles, practices and basic knowledge of nursing services and ancillary departments.
Working knowledge of basic hospital administrative functions.
Development, coordination and delivery of medical services.
