Responsibilities include:
Film development for business need.
Topcoat development for Global business need.
Lead project team, doing applied research and customer driven product development.
Manage project using company R&D processes including NPD process.
Develop and implement comprehensive technical project plans. Determine actions and timelines for projects.
Communicate technical information persuasively to technical colleagues, marketing experts, customers as well as top management.
Develop and support relationships with local vendors for films and top coat raw materials.
Work closely with production personnel to assure runnability, efficiency, and quality of product.
Work closely with global company group experts concerning films such as PET/ BOPP/PE and top coat development for various printing technologies.
Serve on project teams to serve end user products.
Other tasks specified in the Quality System.
Maintain appropriate documentation related to processes, performance, etc., analyze as appropriate to determine and capitalize on best practices.
Manage laboratory activities involving new product development
Perform all duties in full compliance of all laws, safety and environmental regulations, and in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
Perform all duties consistent with the Roles and Responsibilities defined in the company's OHS Standards and Guidelines.

Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in polymer science, chemistry, material science or other related fields. Masters or Ph.D. desirable. Possess at least 5 years strong polymer experience. Qualification the types of raw materials and the type processes from which previous experience would be regarded as an advantage i.e. Raw materials such as PP, PET, PE, Acrylic dispersions and its modification. Processes such as film manufacturing, film converting, printing on films etc. Acrylic and polyurethane experience is plus. Must have demonstrated logical problem-solving ability, while demonstrating inventiveness and initiative. Must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to relate well to a wide range of constituents, including the ability to communicate effectively on both technical and non-technical basis. Must be able to function well as a member of a team. Track history successfully commercializing creative and innovative technologies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
