Director of Emergency Services

Primary Duties The Director is accountable for the overall management and operations of the Emergency Department which includes the following job duties:
o managing the fiscal and human resources of the unit, assisting in formulating goals and objectives for the unit o following policies and procedures to maintain standards and identify and prevent problems o maintaining active participation in unit to ensure that objectives, standards and practices are achieved o achieving and maintaining patient satisfaction goals by evaluating the quality of care on a continuous basis by direct observation and with feedback from patients, staff and physicians o meeting and maintaining quality goals and for ensuring compliance with policies, state and federal laws and regulations and Joint Commission standards Minimum Qualifications o Bachelor of Science in Nursing o Valid NC RN license o Active membership in the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) o Minimum of 5 years' experience in management of Emergency Room Services o Candidate must possess the skills necessary to promote a positive work environment and establish interpersonal relationships with Physicians, Department Leaders and staff.
o Candidate must demonstrate independent problem solving and decision making skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, knowledge of quality improvement principles and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
